These hubs serve as the main gateways to the protected desert. You will park your normal car, pay your 5 JOD entrance fee, and meet your guide in these areas.

Wadi Rum Visitor Center

The Wadi Rum Visitor Center is the official gateway to the protected area. You must stop here to register, pay fees, or show your Jordan Pass. Do not fall for scams from people trying to stop you on the road beforehand.

Wadi Rum Village

Wadi Rum Village is the main Bedouin settlement located 6 kilometers past the visitor center. This is the starting point for most 4x4 jeep tours. You will usually leave your standard 2WD rental car parked safely here.
